Making it Smooth, With Roughage

Roughage, as the name suggests are material or substances of tough and hard nature, and well, this is what it really is: Roughage is material that we ingest, that our digestive system cannot digest. It enters our body and passes on through the entire system, it will get broken up to smaller pieces, but that's as far as it goes.

While it is diffused in water it is not dissolved so it cannot enter our blood system or lymph vessels. So what the heck is the use of it then since we cant digest it? Well you would be surprised as to how important it is although it sounds like a waste of good chewing energy. Observe......

The foods we eat produces waste matter that is of no use to our system any more, if this is allowed to remain within our system apart from being uncomfortable and subsequently painful, it is inherently toxic. This toxic will poison our system and start to propagate cancers in no time if not gotten rid of. Now for our colon muscles to grip this waste and push it out it needs something abrasive to hold on to.

This is where roughage comes in. Without it there would be no grip for the colon to hold on to, and the waste would stay in us and... well, you know what the consequences of that is. So don't be pushing your vegetables to one side of the plate, don't frown on that whole wheat bread, eat all of that fruit don't be peeling the skin off of it. Cause once you contract a bad colon its very hard to fix if ever it can.
